About Me

Let me start by sharing a bit about this blog. I originally created it to support G&G Web Solutions (one of the first websites I developed when I began focusing seriously on tech). It served as a hub for technical resources to help bring ideas online, a demo space for coding practice while I taught computer classes to students and professionals, and a portfolio showcasing projects I worked on for various clients. Recently, I rebranded this blog as ‘Techie Latina,’ shifting its focus to discuss systems for small businesses, the positive impact of information technology, and even my tech-savvy mom lifestyle—topics I’m passionate about every day.

Me and my son enjoying live.

Now you know, you will find updates, comments, posts and information pertaining to those interests.

In this photo, I’m with my son—one of my favorite pictures for a special personal reason that means a lot to me.

About the author – that’s me.

I’ve been working as a freelancer, consultant, online developer, and web manager on an as-needed basis for quite some time, all from the beautiful city of Seattle. I hold degrees in Informatics and Business Information Technology from IUTIRLA and Seattle Central College, and I regularly take courses to stay current with the latest trends. My experience comes from a blend of curiosity, self-teaching, and networking—and yes, I truly believe in the power of networking. I’m particularly passionate about projects that have a real impact on people’s lives, and I’ve found that I often discover these opportunities by getting out there and socializing with purpose.

What kind of clients do I work with? I choose clients and projects that not only spark my interest and present exciting challenges but also align with my values of respect, commitment, and mutual benefit. I aim to deliver professional results that truly address my clients’ needs, creating a ‘win-win’ relationship. I consider myself an ordinary person who enjoys a lifestyle filled with meaningful work, surrounded by people, ideas, and inspiration from experts and innovators in IT, tech, marketing, and community-building. I firmly believe that technology, combined with the right professionals, plays a crucial role in solving global challenges. I often say that by starting with small actions, we can improve the way many people live—helping them while also helping ourselves

Currently, I’m generally taking work and consulting projects from my home office on a part time basis, which allows me to keep an eye on my little one and share important values with him. Feel free to reach out if you’re interested in pitching a project idea or to share about any monster that may be eating your brain – this last one phraseI borrowed from him!
