Barter your skills

I’ve been receiving and reading emails where people seem more interested in getting their work done cheaply than caring about for what we as team need. I mean, we want to do great jobs as much as we are passionate about it and leave customers satisfied, and I know customers want us to do a work that meet their expectations and specific needs. But lately, I see there is something going on that is getting a lot of attention: Trading skills. Can this really work for all?, for me? I don’t know but there is a little disappointment in here if we don’t write down what customers want from us and the real project scope.Does this option – bartering- show a new way to perform my job?, Will it leave more satisfactions?, Can I still improve in my field?, Can this help me grow? How much time will I dedicate on this? .. Much to think about, ah? but let’s start by being careful, clear, and smarter on this topic.

Anyway, I’m so curious that I decided to give a try. Most of my skills are transferable to different types of works, and most of my potential clients’ ideas are pretty interesting in different aspects of business. I have always thought that no all work incentive came as a form of cash, right? I’d like to hear your options though. Send me a line, tell me a little bit about your needs and see if we came up with something fair for both. Good luck! 🙂
