Village Volunteers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works towards supporting the development of sustainable solutions for community survival, education, and growth in places like Kenya, Ghana, Nepal and India. Their Executive Director was interested on getting their website updated as well as implementing new tools and capabilities to support and help new visitors and potential volunteers find the right information.
This is where I came in. After a deep discussion, I focused on updating their actual WordPress theme and adding new content as well as reestructuring the menus sections, headers, and evaluating/installing compatible plugins. Since social media communication is a really important part of any business today, and for a non-profit organization like VV, I helped them featured and highlight their social media feeds a lot better.
